The drippy younger brother role was far more typical of his early career. I believe John Sullivan was quite vociferous before rehearsals that he would be completely wrong for Del Boy.<br /><br />As for this series, it was good, but the older brother could have done with a personality, and the sub-Some Mothers slapstick too often intrudes where it's not needed.
